Connect with Other Christians

Whether you are a newer or an older Christian, wouldn’t it be great to know other Christians who can help you grow in your faith? Other Christians who will listen to your doubts, who will try to understand your problems? Other Christians who model a life of faith and dependence on God?

The moment you began your relationship with Jesus Christ you also began a relationship with other Christians. Now you are part of God’s family.

"You are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:26, NLT)

"...it is his boundless mercy that has given us the privilege of being born again so that we are now members of God's own family." (1 Peter 1:3, LB)

In God’s family there are no orphans. God wants all of His children to live in community with other believers, interrelating with each other and part of something much bigger than themselves.

Central Bible Church offers many times and places to meet and connect with other Christians. Small group meetings are available on Sunday and during the week. Select the upper right link, "View a List of Small Groups", to receive a complete list (PDF format) of both Sunday Classes and Life Groups.

Sunday Classes are open to everyone. They meet at the church from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. on (surprise!) Sunday mornings. 

• Berachah Class
  Class begins with prayer for class members and missionaries. Careful reading of the Bible is emphasized as present day applications are discovered. Led by Dick Andersen in room 201.
  
  
• The Gathering
  For young adults — singles and marrieds — this class combines weekly Bible study with monthly recreational or service outings. Led by Gary and Layne Miller in "The Den" room 124.
  
  
• Marriage Builders
  A class of couples seeking to strengthen their family and enjoy friendships with each other. Led by Larry Spaulding in room 121.
  
  
• Philadelphians
  The class is challenged to think as they exposit Scripture, resulting in lively discussions during the process of learning. Led by Jeff Walter in room 203.
  
  
• Prayer Class
  Adults walk with Jesus through prayer, participating in His kingdom works at CBC and around the world. They meet in room 213.
  
  
• Women
  Women build closer relationships with one another as they study and pray together. Led by Teresa Kowatch in balcony room 304.

Life Groups meet mid-week in homes. Some are open all season while others are open only at the beginning of each year.  To find a Life Group, select the upper right link, "Find a Life Group."
