David Stevens
Senior Pastor

Pastor David and his family were missionaries in France for 15 years before coming to Central Bible Church in the year 2000. David’s greatest joy in ministry comes from communicating God’s Word and seeing its impact in individual lives. His favorite language is French and his favorite sport is snow skiing.
    David and his wife Mary Alice have four children: Justin, Mary Lynne, and Rebecca (married to a previous CBC youth intern!). Their oldest son, Jonathan, entered his heavenly home in 2004.
    David is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (1982) with a Masters of Theology. He also holds a Doctorate of Theology from the Faculté Evangélique de Vaux-sur-Seine near Paris, France.

Dan Plesha
Pastor of Worship Arts

Pastor Daniel oversees and facilitates the creative arts at Central Bible Church.
    The “New Kid on the Block” has led a double life. While serving as worship pastor in various churches throughout the country, he has also worked as a professional actor for 20 years. His singing has taken him to over 50 countries on six continents.
    Since his deliverance from dinner theatre, he has settled down with his wife, Sandra, a native of Quito, Ecuador. They have two children: Claire and Gabe.
    They love travel, trying new foods from other countries, and on date night, the babysitter can usually find them at a Border’s Bookstore.

Reilly Gibby
Pastor of Children and Discipleship Ministries

Pastor Reilly serves a broad cross-section of people as he oversees both children and adult ministries. As pastor of discipleship, Reilly gives direction to the Life Groups and adult education opportunities. He also enjoys the opportunity to preach occasionally.
     Reilly holds a BA degree from Baylor University (with double majors in Greek and English), a ThB degree from Multnomah Bible College, and an MDiv from Western Seminary. Although he teaches theology classes occasionally at Multnomah Bible College, his passion has always been service to the local church. He has been Pastor of Aims Community Church (1977–1981) and Community Bible Fellowship (1981–1998) before coming to Central Bible nine years ago. Reilly loves people and counts it a high privilege to lead with compassion as a shepherd.
     His role as husband to Miriam and father to three daughters has always been significant for Reilly. Now that his daughters are all married, he has added another fulfilling role—being Grandpa to six kids born in the last seven years.

Shon TenKley
Pastor of Student Ministries

Pastor Shon loves working with students and families. Some of his favorite things about being a youth pastor include: students accepting Christ, long van rides with lots of singing, watching students mature in Christ, 4 on a couch, retreat food, mission trips, training leaders and sending out interns to be youth pastors.
     He received his B.A. in Bible and Youth Ministry from Multnomah Bible College in 1997. Completing his internship, Shon became our Pastor of Student Ministries in 1998.
     Shon and Melody have been married for ten years and have 5 children: Clara, Timmy, Audrey, Thaddeus and Caleb.

Mike Brown
Administrative Pastor
 
Pastor Mike manages the church facilities, finances and technical systems. 
     He received his BRE from Multnomah Bible College in 1978. He pursued a successful career in publication design and management at Walk Thru the Bible (Atlanta), Multnomah Press (Portland), Walt Disney World (Orlando), Harcourt School Publishers (Orlando), ArborText (Washington D.C.), SoftQuad (Portland), and Boeing (Seattle) before joining us in 2004.
   Mike and Debbie have 2 daughters.
