Our 2008 Sermon Series —

Every Christian faces the potential threat of the status quo. Like a well-worn rut in the road that hinders freedom of movement, the inertia of spiritual complacency can keep us from experiencing God’s fullest blessing and reward, both in this life and the next.
How do we begin to refocus? What can lead us from complacency to commitment? What signposts serve as indicators on the pathway towards maturity?
The author of the letter to the Hebrews fixes our attention on both the Person of Christ and His promise of future reward. With His Person before us and His promise ahead of us, we can finish well the race of the Christian life.
If you’re interested in a look ahead, here’s on outline of the book and a chart of the book that I’ll be using throughout the year.
His and Yours,
David Stevens
